10/11 Above the Line Leadership: Leadership in the future of work has changed. There are new currencies of work and new skills for leaders. Leadership today is human-centered - it is about the person in front of you. These behaviors, grounded in a decade's worth of research, are so often the things that are easy to do and equally easy not to do. But where do they come from? As the field of higher education pushes forward, leadership must come from somewhere. It does not operate like a light switch, turning on and off at a moment's notice. And leadership is not accidental. Rather, your leadership has a purpose and is intentional. In this engaging, reflective, and participant-centered workshop, we'll think about and share your own leadership origin story and where your breakthrough moments have been. Bring your journal and be prepared to think about those impactful and inspiring moments in your journey. Come ready to tell your story.
