The Learning and Development area’s primary goal is to offer the University of Mississippi’s staff and faculty an opportunity for continual growth. Our seminars cover an array of topics to improve your professional skills and personal development.

These sessions are provided for your personal and professional development, but keep in mind that when you register you are making a commitment to attend. If you are not sure that you can attend, wait to register until you have checked your calendar for conflicts. |06/01||Career-Life Connector Presents For Faculty/Staff: Wellbeing and Resilience: Building a Better You: The Career-Life Connector program is offering a professional and personal development opportunity to faculty and staff. The program is titled, Wellbeing and Resilience: Building a Better You by Dr. Seena Haines and Dr. Stuart Haines, both faculty in the School of Pharmacy (UMMC location). The goal of the program is to help participants build the skills to handle setbacks and lead a fulfilling personal and professional life. Given COVID-19, the program will review concepts related to resilience and self-care strategies to improve mind, body, and spirit. Furthermore, participants will learn how individuals can contribute to a more joyful workplace. The program requires participants to commit to a 6-week program, attending 6 sessions, lasting 1.5 hours each on Tuesday evenings via Zoom. A digital credential will be awarded upon completion of all program requirements. The program will consist of a faculty and staff cohort, limited to 20 registrants.
